Posted April 15th 2000 Tracing Relatives (Boston) I am seeking information about Delia McNamara McCarthy – Born on 15/10/1909. Father ; John McCarthy, Mother ; McNamara, The McNamara family (her mother’s people) lived at Feakle Road, Scariff, Co. Clare from the early part of the 19th century. Some of the family including Delia, emigrated to Boston – Joseph McNamara in 1902. In November 1995, a lady from Boston representing Delia McNamara arrived in Scariff, seeking information regarding Delia’s relatives. She left the above information at a local restaurant but did not leave her name or address. I am a third generation descendant of the only McNamara Family who resided at Feakle Road, Scariff for over 140 years and can submit proof of same.
